Welcome back everyone to another edition of The Bats, Bows n' Books Podcast. This week, it's all bats. But not 'that' bat. No, not the Batman, but the other bat in the belfry. Vampires, blood, carnage, animation. This week's topic is the Netflix smash hit, 'Castlevania', based on the hit video game series from Konami. Paul focuses on the animation, the music, the characters and the themes the show dwells upon, concluding with his own rating and overall thoughts on the 4 episode season. So get your holy water and garlic ready, and take a trip to Wallachia with The Bats, Bows n' Books Podcast for Episode 45: Blood & Fire.
Outro Track: "Evil" by 45 Grave, from the 1981 compilation release "Hell Comes to Your House" from Bemisbrain Records
Music that can be heard throughout the episode is from the "Netflix's Castlevania" original soundtrack, as done by Trevor Morris

It's a new episode on the day of the first anniversary for The Bats, Bows n' Books Podcast, and this episode is something of the fun and ranty type. So everyone these days just loves Wonder Woman, and the goodness that the film of said character is bringing. But did you know there was a time when the Amazon Princess of Themyscira was handled so badly that even a pilot episode was withheld from the public? Yes, it's true my friends. But you wanna know something? I've seen that pilot. And today I'm sharing with you the details of that atrocity. This one episode of Wonder Woman is so bad, I've given it the title of "the thing that should not be". So gather round good kiddies, and let Uncle Pauly share with you a tale of the time David E. Kelley was almost allowed to destroy the Goddess of DC's holy trinity with one single pilot episode.
Outro Track: "Burnin' in the Third Degree" by Tahnee Cain & the Tryanglz; from the original soundtrack for the 1984 film "The Terminator".
Thank you so much for listening to this week's episode. I hope you enjoyed it, and that you were able to have a laugh or just have a good time listening. Please feel free to share this podcast with a loved one, and spread the word about the podcast. Every little bit helps. And thank you for joining me for the first year of this adventure, and hopefully you'll stick around for more to see where this all goes. Thank you, and have a wonderful week.
